A Weekend of Gratitude

Happy Monday! Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canucks and happy Memorial Day to my American friends. Oh yes, let’s not forget Pan-American day to my fam in the BZE!  This weekend was fantastic.

It started at work on Friday with being spoiled by Mary and Debbie. I work with an amazing group of people and am very thankful. Mary and Debbie organized their annual Thanksgiving treat day and made all kinds of delicious eats for the staff.

That veggie tray turkey! Along with many other delicious options. I call these ladies the Martha Stewarts of Pickering (minus the jail time.)

On Sunday we headed to wine country for Thanksgiving dinner. A while back we decided we did not want to cook or do dishes, so we made reservations to Ravine Vineyard for a nice traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. I haven’t had dessert in ages, so I really enjoyed my pumpkin pie.

A heart full of gratitude and a belly full of food. God is good.

Happy Thanksgiving.

  1. I thought of you when I heard it was Canadian Thanksgiving! I’m glad to see/hear you had a good one. Your food looks so incredible and I love that pumpkin with the loooong stem!
